Luxury Heavy Duty Garden 3 Seater Swing Seat Hammock Bed
06 Jun, 2019
Lovely seat, can't get awning on
This garden swing seat is not too difficult to assemble. Instructions are ok. I did it on my own, lone female, in about 2 hours. Bit tricky in parts (check you have the bar with the clasps up the right way, it's not obvious from the diagram) and it would be helpful to have 2 people. I just can't get the awning on completely. It seems there is not quite enough fabric to allow me to screw the second knob to the frame which means it is precariously balanced until I can get some help. I can't tighten the knobs enough to stop the fairly light winds from moving it. Other than that, the seats are really comfortable and as a bed it is nice too. (Remember to put the bar holding the seat up in to the fixings on the lower cross bar so the bed doesn't tip) For the price it is a good buy. Not sure how long it will last. Awning is not waterproof so I will be buying a cover very soon. And unless I have done something wrong, I'm disappointed I cannot get the awning on properly. The diagram for that part is vague. Just hope I can get someone to help sort that out, or I'll have to leave it off as I don't want it landing on my head (again) or blowing off and damaging something more important 😉. If you're on a budget, I'd recommend this seat.

HORWOOD LUXURY EASYUP POP UP FOLDING 6 SIDED GAZEBO 3.6 x 3.1 & NET CURTAINS
23 Jul, 2019
Lovely space, easy to put up, easy to pack away
Ok, so I've only had this gazebo an hour, but myself and my 14 year old daughter just unpacked and put it up in 30 minutes. We didn't even open the instructions, until we wanted to hang the net walls, but they're not mentioned in the instructions. Key things to remember; once out of the bag, stand the gazebo on the legs and working your way round gently pull the base of the legs outwards until the gazebo is at maximum diameter. Then from underneath push the top upwards. This took two people, one to push, one to hold the legs down as it was quite stiff. Once the roof struts have clicked into place, then you can extend the legs to full height. Probably easiest to go round twice. Hold base, press button and pull leg down, first round to lower hole, second round to upper hole. Pull down fabric that is tucked into guy rope loops and using hook on piece of elastic, hook under base of leg. Gazebo is up. The net curtains have zips in the middle of every side and holes for the poles to go through at the bottom. They can go up either way, zips can be made to zip from either side. Put the legs through the holes first and velcro in place on each pole. Velcro net curtains in place. See photo for how we did it. Seems fairly sturdy. We have weighted the feet down. Not waterproof. There are breathing holes in the roof, but great shaded space. Delivered today although original dates were tomorrow or the following two days. Perfect as today its 27°C. Yes, velcro is white and obvious, but minor detail.

RUSSELL HOBBS Bubble 24413 4-Slice Toaster - Blue
05 Oct, 2018
Lovely colour. Quite large.
Bought because it was the only kettle and toaster in the colour I wanted. It looks great. However, the control buttons, whilst easy to use, feel flimsy and as if they may not last long. The slots for the toast are small and barely fit sliced bread slices in lengthways. Have yet to try my preferred home cut doorsteps, but I foresee difficulties with the width too. The top has a smooth metal rim around the slots so wiping is fairly easy. The toaster is quite large and takes up a fair bit of worktop, so check the measurements if space might be an issue The crumb trays are, like most, in need of emptying daily. I love the blue colour and the look of the bubble toaster and kettle.
