Sturdy, good value, should last for years!
For the price you can't go far wrong. Sturdily built, dual purpose as the cutting unit can easily be separated from the base. Nice of them to supply 2 blades. Cutting is very accurate once set up and quite quick although prefer to use on lower speed as it stresses blade and machine less and I have time. the cut is so fine and controlled it leaves an almost machined edge to the work. I did raise an eyebrow at dry cutting only, they do not recommend using fluids. Instructions plentiful but this is because its in a million languages, instructions are basic. They shy away recommending cutting ferrous materials in the manual, don't know why as I bought it as a metal cutting saw, but have cut lots and its fine. Long sturdy power cord, nicely finished, don't forget to store with blade slack, no warning label about this.
Things I would have liked? Rubber feet on base instead of plastic, being able to walk away while cutting, it needs control on the down force, there is a friction device but its not for this purpose according to the manual. You could probably leave it to cut if you adjusted it such but there is no auto stop feature once through the material. Was fed up with sawing billet steel by hand, takes hours and I am getting older, this is convenient, fast and accurate.

Don't be put off by the low price - I found it to be of excellent quality.
I have a tap and die set but no M8 fine so took a chance on this inexpensive set as it was only for one job. I was very impressed, it out performs my current sets, cuts cleanly and accurately and produced some of the best threads I have ever done! I usually always start the operation on the lathe to get things nice and square and finish off in the vice. I will be looking at getting a few more!
