Taste of Tombstone by Sherry Monaham
1 of 1 found this helpful I absolutely love this book!!! You get 2 for one price. Overall detailed history of Tombstone in their famous "heyday" back in the late 1880's complete with photos, and the good 'ol recipes that I so much missed! You name it, from biscuits to veal with minimal ingredients, as supplies were not as bountiful back then. I highly recommend this book, a great wealth of information and resources all in one book! Luv it! Sandri

The Collector's Encyclopedia of Noritake by J. V Patten
4 of 4 found this helpful This book has beautiful pictures and covers different Noritake patterns. However, it does not have an index by plate name, and the one is does provide is not very helpful (which is by plate number). I was dissapointed that most of the patterns that we are familiar with and love here in the U.S. were not covered in this book. I thought it would be, as I purchased this book specifically by the printing date. I regret to report that I did not find much useful information in it, although it did explain the various "stamp" designs they use and their significance/origin. Sandri

Famous Gun Fighters of The Western Frontier
I highly recommend this book for all you western buffs. It was written by Bat Masterson himself while he was working in New York (where he spent most of his life) by "Human Life". He wrote individual articles on famous gunfighters of the west from Wyatt Earp, Luke Short, Ben Thompson to Doc Holliday. The beauty of this book, is that it complied all of these articles together to form the book, an the FACT that Bat Masterson knew each and every one of these individuals personally. It's a refreshing and honest look into the private lives and personalities of these famous individuals. Mr. Masterson's style of writing makes it hard to put the book down. His eloquence is superb. Highly Recommended!!! Sandri (Earps007)
