It does not attract dirt which is why I use it rather than conventional oil. It's intended for use in dry weather, but I think if it was used regularly in the winter months it would still preserve the chain. You can get the wet version, but it will be more inclined to attract dirt.

Ok, but not particularly good quality. Light weight so I suppose that's what you can expect.
