Must-have for Trek Original Series Fans
1 of 1 found this helpful I grew up watching re-runs of the original series and the cartoon series in the '70's. Back then we made models of the ships and imagined the continuing adventures. I bought a ragged copy of this manual when I was around ten and lost it somehow as my other interests superceded Trek. Now that I'm around 40 and somewhat nostalgic, I bought this as a way to reconnect to those simpler times.
The information in this manual is, of course, fantastic. But it is interesting to see how much depth the author went into. Some might say "how pervasive was his psychosis." But I remember as a kid being very excited at seeing blueprints and plans for various ships, weapones, sub-systems, etc. This manual brings a sense of reality to the whole Trek mystique. Though the technical details are stuck in '70's technology (CRT displays, full-size transistors and capacitors, etc.) it is still interesting.
The quality of the printing is excellent and the cover is quite nice. It's all black and white however, as a military tech manual ought to be. All in all this is a must have for any moderately serious fan of the series that started it all.

Excellent Product
Installed this in about 20 minutes and works perfectly. It's great to be able to check the status of my and operate my garage door from anywhere. it took about 5 minutes to pair with my operator, which is an Overhead Door model 696 from around 2004. This is a nice addition to my growing inventory of SmartHome accessories.

Great shoe at a great price
These shoes look fantastic, very minimalist, and are very comfortable. The boa closure system makes it simple to get a snug fit. They're close to the same weight as my old MTB shoes but feel lighter for some reason. Great shoe at a great price!
