Excellent ratchet tap holder wrench

Holds taps from just above 2mm square up to just under 6mm square- Unfortunate that it can't quite accomodate 1/4ins square. Holds taps securely and true. Secure ratchet action with no detectable looseness or wobbles, though the outer chromed casing is surprisingly flimsy.. The T bar itself could be a little longer for additional leverage, though. The tap set that come with the ratchet is sharp and precise, but not HSS grade nor spiral, so require turning back as you cut, so there is not much benefit in using a ratchet tap holder!.

Compact and loud, good for motorbikes/scooters

Compact unit and very loud, contrary to some other reviews. Does draw a lot of current at start so need to operate thru a relay or very high current rated switch. Definitely not waterproof, so may not like being rained on.

Useful device for illuminating keyboard.

Retains shape when flexed and very bright. Sufficiently light weight so can be supported just by the USB plug and works extremely well as an illuminator Possibly too bright just for illuminating the keyboard. Although bright, the type of LED used is not efficient so consumes, relatively, a lot of power, though I measured only 0.6 watts, rather than the claimed 1.2watts, it still heats up. The metal heat dissipater on the back prevent any untoward heat build up but I would have preferred less bright, more efficient LEDs which would not have required a metal plate. Extremely good value from this supplier, though he will not supply any specific colour. .
