Wooden Conductor Sheet Music Stand - Adjustable - Foldable - Tripod

Ok but build quality could be better

I needed a conductor stand as my band binder is quite heavy and fold up stands aren't strong enough. This stand is fine for holding weight. My criticism is around quality. The wooden back has a bracket that fits to the stand and it's not quite straight meaning it's down in the left a little. I don't really notice it in use but it shows a lack of attention at manufacture and quality control. And it was described as "wooden" which it isn't really. It's a foil on board - adequate but not real wood.

Surprisingly good for unbranded direct from China

I was a bit reticent about buying something so pricey as an unbranded product direct from China - but there wasn't an equivalent available in the UK. I needed a wireless sax mic that doesn't have a body pack as we will swap it between band members depending on who's got the solo part. It's very well presented in a good box. The connecting lead is very short - so I've bought an extra but it fits in the box OK so it all stays together. We used it properly for the first time on Monday and it was excellent. Pick up seems better than my very expensive wired AKG that I've had for years. The screw up part where it mounts to the sax is a bit flaky though. You don't have to unscrew it much and it comes out of its thread and it's a little fiddly to get it to reengage - we'll have to be careful when swapping it when on stage. Sound quality was just fine - not complaints. I haven't bothered swapping the channels which doesn't look as easy as it probably is - usual poor translation of instructions - why can't the Chinese write decent instructions? But otherwise it's very easy to use and is effectively plug and play. I haven't tried it over any distance - and to be honest won't bother. I'll have the receiver within a couple of meters of the transmitter at all times as I doubt 100m is really achievable - but it does have "diversity" with it transmitting over 2 channels at the same time so I am reassured about interference. So overall I'm giving it 4 stars - and I'm buying another to for the clarinet to use permanently as the aforementioned AKG is wired and this will give a lot more flexibility.
