buy it you'll love it and so will your chickens
I purchased this to save time and keep run cleaner. It is a little larger than most feeders but the capacity works out well for my 7 hens. I have had to refill every two weeks or so. Only negative I can say is that every once in a while I have to give it a shake to move feed forward so hen can access feed a little easier.
I keep it outside and even with massive rains it keeps feed dry. Hens took to it instantly.
I would suggest this product to anyone.

Just add LIXIT and MIXIT to provide hens with a dust bath that is everything they need to stay healthy
I am not allowed by city to allow my hens to free roam. I had to find a way to make a dust bath area for my girls. I mix 50/50 dirt and sand then add LIXIT and MIXIT.
Hens cannot wait to get in it everyday. I am very satisfied with the quality of product. I am sure the hens are getting everything they need from this product.
