Slightly misleading cell phone, kind of cheap.
There is some confusing misinformation about this phone. This particular model is known as an ME770d, or KE770. (ME being the Mexican model and KE being the European.) LG doesn't seem to know it even exists, though I tried searching their official website for it. My main gripe with this cell is that it only supports GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz. Since I live in the US, the common 850MhZ range is lacking, which kind of kills the reception of this phone unless one is outside. I think I may trade it in for a US Shine CU720 instead. The manual is all in Spanish, but one can set the phone itself for English. I have AT&T as my current carrier, so I could still make calls. The lack of 3G technology as well as speakerphone is a blow to it's quality as well. In the positive aspect, it does take decent photos/videos and has an attractive stainless steel case. Beware however, the steel and glass of the phone display may scratch easily. It's small and easy to carry around. Battery life is average, for about 2-3 hours per call. I had it in standby for almost a full day before plugging it back in. I'd say buy this if you're being cheap and live in the States like me. Should work great for anyone in Mexico though!

Mediocre PSP-to-TV accessory at best
This is an okay, cheaper way to put your PSP on a normal TV should you have the old 1001 "Phat" model like I do. The original PSP did not have a TV-out jack, and therefore was extremely difficult to hook up to a television without modding the unit itself. This device is nothing more than a CCD camera inside a plastic housing with an angled mirror reflecting the image to the camera lens. The color is substandard and the picture grainy. I tried adjusting the brightness of the LCD via the button on the front of my console, but this just causes a white glare if you set it too high. The image also has dark lines around the top and sides of the reflected image. The image is easier on one's eyes if you just stare at the PSP's built-in LCD. The adapter screws to the PSP directly, via the two holes on the back by the UMD tray. One upside is that it snaps on easily, with no damage to the case. However, once I got it hooked to the PSP, the picture seemed to be a little off center. I'm not sure if this is because the holes on the back of my PSP are off kilter or maybe the camera isn't aligned properly. Anywho, if you're looking for a cheap and easy way to mod your old Playstation Portable to hook to a TV, this is it.

Rare Squaresoft shooter, lots of fun!
Einhander is a classic 3D, side-scrolling shooter game for the PS1. The story is interesting. It involves a futuristic, mech anime-esque war in the future between Earth's empire and a lunar nation colonized on the Moon. It was developed by the former Squaresoft (now Square-Enix) famous for the revered Final Fantasy series. Not that easy to find at a decent price, I highly recommend picking this up. If you want a VERY challenging, unique action game with great graphics for its time, get this. It's also worth quite a bit in my opinion. The music is upbeat, throbbing electronica that goes well with the battles, reminiscent of Parasite Eve, also by the same company. HUGE boss battles. The only negative thing I can say is if you don't like "one hit death" games, this may frustrate you. Personally, I grew up in the Xevious era, so I love this game. Could have been a bit longer in my opinion, but the difficulty offsets this. There are some artwork unlockables as well, and the game rates/saves your score and performance if you have a standard PS1 memory card. If you can make it to the end of the game, you'll be surprised at the turn of events. (I won't spoil it.) Seriously, just go out there and bid on it! :) -John
