A small stompbox with a surprising number of great effects
1 of 1 found this helpful The MS-100BT is a great value and incorporates a number of excellent effects, particularly in modulation, delay and reverb effects, but it also has some surprisingly good emulations of overdrives/distortions and fuzz. I don't use the amp simulations (I'm using the MS-100BT in front of an amp/cab), but many (okay, not all) of the the ODs/fuzzes are very good sims of their modeled ODs/Fuzzes - in particular the Big Muff, Tone Bender, ProCo Rat, Octavia, but also their own sims of very high gain distortions, e.g. 'Extreme Distortion' and others and most very good. Perhaps not quite as good as the analog devices Zoom is trying to emulate, but quite close enough for live gigs where analog subtleties are not so important, and if you're not too picky, all these ODs and effects will work in the studio as well.

Inexpensive but works great so far
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this trying to avoid paying $100-$150 for a basic isolated pedal power with 8 or more 9-18V outputs. It does the job as well as my Gator G-BUS-8-US power supply, although the Gator PS has two more 18V supplies (which I didn't need). The output current of each of the first 7 outputs is rated at only 100mA, but it seems to power devices that (ostensibly) require more than 100 mA just fine (e.g. a Zoom MS-100BT and a Wave-X PXL4 looper).
