CK say this tool is up to 50% quicker than a conventional method, ( junior hack saw ).
I'd say its 100 - 150% slower.
Also changing the blade on it and trying to retain the spares in their place is an absolute faff.
The only good thing about this tool is it scores the steel nice and perpandicular so you get a neat place to put your gland.
This tool will probably be good for newby sparks or someone who hasn't made off many SWAs.

These levers suit my early 90s GT perfectly.
They work like a dream..
