Works well with Olympus E-PL (PL-5 specifically)
Let's be clear on what this is for. It's a macro tube kit. There are two parts, which can be combined for maximum effect. It recommends a tripod, as it's more likely to come out a bit blurry if you're freehanding.
I use it to take images of stuff that's really small. Use it for insects, leaves, the texture of your shoe, electronics, the carpet or whatever floats your boat. Remember that you're not going to use it for portraits, or for landscapes, unless the target is a few cms in width. (Might work if you're doing a photoshoot with Thumbelina.) Might be handy for product photos if said products and tiny.
Quality and sharpness is generally still impressive. I'm delighted with my purchase. If I'm stupid and break it, I'll probably buy another in replacement.
This matches well when paired with a zoom lens. I love combining both tubes with the 40-150mm Olympus 1:4-5.6R zoom lens, allowing me to hold the camera between about 50cm away at most, through to actually touching the lens to my target.
If you're buying this and you've not used macro kit before (like my situation), remember you need to get really, really close. I'd recommend a zoom lens because it would drive me nuts trying to get the focus perfect with a prime. I'm far too lazy for that.

Fast, great warranty offered (but untested), seems to perform as expected. Couldn't be happier for the money paid.

Sharp enough for me, with minimal cuts
Very happy with them during the past 4-5 years; I rarely get cuts using these, I found them to be more a little more forgiving than other options. They might not be sharp enough for the coarsest of hair, though. They're much better when you've rinsed your beard/stubble with soap products beforehand and heated up your hair/the razor a bit (e.g. during/immediately after showering) in my experience. I use a cheap well-known double edge brand's plastic holder (haven't tried their stainless steel) and find this provides a great match. I don't have thin hair by any means, but achieve a consistent, good shave this way.
