It's the real thing
It's a genuine Land Rover part so it's top quality and not cheap, but hey, when you need one you need one. Don't get me wrong, the price is competitive but genuine parts are never good value.

Surprising
I bought this as a sacrificial tool. It had to shift one bearing to earn it's price. Imagine my surprise when it turned out to be made of proper steel and not cheese. It's all well made and strong and stands up to abuse very well indeed.
The box is a bit feeble though. I think my set had some rough handling in transit and the larger splitter tried to smash its way out to freedom.
I recommend this product, it seems to be the same as the one from your local supplier that comes in a red metal box and costs four times as much. I started with a small budget and low expectations, it turns out that I've got a tool for life.

NGK are the best spark plugs money can buy
What else is there to say, three of the four had yellow passivation and the fourth was normal silver which was a bit odd but they all worked as expected.
