Cheap but poorly made substitute cartridge.

Although these seem at first glance to be a bargain compared to the "genuine Brother" cartridges I could have bought, they may prove the adage you get what you pay for. Although some of the cartridges work, they vary slightly in size, and some don't fit the printer. I may have damaged my printer's black print head trying too hard to push a black cartridge in. Also, beware that each cartridge has a piece of tape on it that has the word "pull" printed on it. Thinking that was an installation instruction, I pulled the tape off and immediately spilled ink on my hands and carpet. My guess is that the tape was there to hold the ink in the cartridge after filling, and that it's supposed to stay on. (Some of the cartridges work fine while the tape remains on). I'm not impressed.
