A combination of retro and modern in one watch
Excellent watch, made to commemorate the first ever gshock watch first introduced in 1983 and undoubtedly a future classic, the resin Band is a step above other gshock resin bands in the comfort level, in fact the whole watch is excellent quality and is suitable for any occasion, the only drawback to all that shiny is the up keep because it picks up fingerprints and oils from the skin. Other than that there is nothing negative about the watch, it is built like a tank and feels like a solid bit of kit, has both solar power and atomic time keeping, on top of that it is also possible to connect it to your smartphone via Bluetooth and the gshock app, where you can adjust all settings, set timers, alarms, workd time settings and even set short reminders for yourself amongst other things. Highly recommended if you have the money and the wrist size as with all gshocks it's a big watch but actually the gmw-b5000 is relatively small compared to most gshocks.
