Surprisingly good sound quality. Silly restrictions, but easy to fix them.

Surprisingly flexible recording machine. Bit weird how it does not let one record music, but I guess that's the copyright industry for you. In fact music works just as well on 'voice' recording as RMA file, which can be converted to .wav or .mp3 on any system. Rather silly it only has one mic/earphone socket. What happens of you want to record with the microphone and also monitor it or hear it straight away. Daft. To switch it off, press the 'hold' button on. All working without any hassle. Time setting is not switching off ???

It's not 'better than expected' (4* choice!). It is exactly AS EXPECTED. All working without any hassle. I'm using the 9 hour recharge setting on AA batteries. Left it overnight, yet still it keeps charging! Not sure the timer works properly. Luckily I also own a watch.

Wrong size for 'AA' radio! *Duracell* Ultra AA Rechargeable Batteries

These are Duracell ULTRA *Rechargeable Batteries* 2500mAh NiMH ... Size = 'AA' They are slightly longer from base to top of anode pole by just over 1mm ! How can a Global Brand like Duracell make a battery the wrong size?! I charged them for 3 hours (from new) and then had to force them into a DAB radio. ALL other 'AA' batteries fit normally. Not looking forward to removing them when it's recharge time! Be aware of this design FAIL and check there is plenty of spare space in your electrical item first.
