2 of 2 found this helpful Brilliant television based on the factual account of the establishment of llanberis, north wales. The only diference is HBO have cut the ammunt of actual swearing that happened.

Monkey! Pigsy must have known my mum!
2 of 2 found this helpful I love Monkey!. I was looking to piece together the last 38 years of life, much of it lost to external forces such gold label and hash. I came across Monkey!, without trying I could picture the scene, bad dubbing, drunken lewdness and general bad behaviour - the parallels jumped out at me.
Monkey! not only allows the watcher to enjoy what is arguably the best and mindfully silliest tv of its time but it also alows him/her to just be 8-9 or 10 again.
Absoluteley fantastic stuff, Pigsy (1st 12 os so, episodes)probably formed my being in a way my partner would or could never understand!
