Help

I tried installing the software on my MacBook, but it wouldn't work. Once its downloaded on the computer Microsoft office blocks it from opening up and send you to Apple play store where you are asked to upgrade to 365 subscription. If you have any instructions that can help install the program please send it over. I have the MacBook pro 2013 with Catalina operating system.
