Excellent product

Unfortunate purchase
Its with some regret that I recommend that you avoid this radio - which is a pity because its design is attractive and when working its sound quality is good. The problem with my radio - which may be a one-off fault- is that if left on standby (the relatively inaccessible switch at the back in the "on" position and the "power" button on the front with off selected), when restarted the DAB sound quality is appalling. The only way I have found to re-set it is to do a DAB scan - after which its fine - until the next time. Because the rear switch is relatively inaccessible I tried unplugging it at the mains - but then after a few days the battery is too flat to operate the radio. Maybe mine is a one-off rogue radio but by the time I had tried and failed to find a way round its short comings three weeks had elapsed and the packaging had been discarded so I could not return it.
