Good camera with bad software from a dissapointing manufacturer.

Really nice, well featured camera producing good quality video's. But badly let down, because when I wanted to work with the video files on my computer I found that the aspect ratio was wrong. I tried different settings on the camera and in my imaging software but with no joy. The software supplied with the camera was useless. A trawl round the internet (you dont just have to take my word for it), turned up lots of people tearing out thier hair with the same problem. Samsung didnt have an answer and couldnt have cared less. I eventually sorted the problem out by purchasing software to convert mpeg to avi format allowing me to work with my camera's files. I am at last very satisfied with my camera and am now getting the results that I wanted, but it was a difficult journey that could have been easier with a bit of help from the manufacturer. It is a very good camera but I would only recommend it with warnings about the software required.

I am very pleased with my Big Berkey.

I've always wanted one of these but I have held back because they seemed very expensive. Now I have one and I understand why. They are expensive because they are good quality, they work well, easy to assemble, operate and clean. The black filters can also be cleaned, so a big saving there. I expect to own this filter for a long time. Oh! and the water tastes fantastic.
