A super little replica.
2 of 2 found this helpful Before I purchased the mini 64 I watched a lot of reviews on YouTube. I was interested in the mini as I had an original 64 back in the day. Its a great little replica of the original, no keyboard functionality though, but the console does have a virtual keyboard on screen.
I really like this you get 64 games on it with some old favourites. Some people have issues with the lack of keyboard, but you could upgrade to the Maxi that has a full sized keyboard. The joystick is reasonable to use, again you could upgrade to a micro switch one that some folks prefer. There is a firmware update on the 64 website that you can download onto a USB that cleans things up a bit, also puts on a few more games, recommended. All in all the playability & the games are great really takes you back to the 80's games race. You can also download thousands of games from the Internet to USB. A great buy, so much fun! If you like all those 80's games you can't go wrong.
