Parts falling off and other parts (welds) breaking
I have built bikes for many years, so had no trouble fitting the pannier, it looked ok at first, sits high and adds extra weight (high up on frame) but I should have got one that mounts to the bike frame and not the seat post and sits lower.
so in 6 weeks of just being fixed to the bike and me just cycling around on normal roads some of the screws have fallen out, the rear reflector has fallen off and the welds that hold it together; some have broken and others look ready to fail, and worst of all I have never put any pannier bags on it... ever... I doubt this rack would have supported any type of saddle bag for long without falling apart

solid construction, requires a lot of strength and both hands to use.
2 of 2 found this helpful Heavy duty, solid construction, lots of grip strength needed both hands and strong arms required to work, Failed the first few times of use, first off could not feed the pop rivets into it, then pop rivets were getting stuck inside, so had to dismantle the whole thing, used some WD40 and reassembled, after lots of fine tuning with the tightening dial/nozzle finally got it working, it regularly needs tightening after a few uses to grip the pop rivet pins, quite powerful little pop/bang when it finishes, if you are riveting things on a wall is very tiring, best to use it on the floor and put your whole body weight behind the handle.
