Great Buy but get your sizing right.

Pros - Very strong, well built boot. Will last for year and very comfortable if correctly fitted. Stylish and smart design. The sole bed is strongly shaped. Much like the sandals but with more definition after the arches. I found it very supportive for my old arthritic feet. Con - They did some breaking in to soften the leather. A bit like Doc Martens but without the blisters. I used an olive oil soak. Caution - Get the sizing right. Birkenstock boots come in narrow and normal fittings and if you get it wrong it will hurt. Go to the Birkenstock shop site, printout a copy of their sizing guidance template. Now use it.
