    About

Retired full-time to Thailand from the States in 2018. A model maker for 70 years, mostly U.S. aircraft and U.S. military vehicles.

After a build, I keep only photos and sell all the built kits on eBay. Well over 100.

Not a profit-making operation, I try to price so as to recover the kit cost and after-market items.

I’ll do commissions as time permits; very reasonably priced.

Arrived today! Thank you for all your help. For being lost for a while. The TBM Arrived with only a broken pitot tube and the antenna array broken off the tail and cockpit. Kit was packed very well and presents even better than in the photos. Look forward to future transactions. Looking for a built SBD and a SB2C. Thanks Again. Dave

Archer 1/35 Allied Air Recognition Panels (Fluorescent Orange) AR35169N
    16 Mar, 2021
    Seriously overpriced
Essentially one panel for $15. That’s nuts. I’ve made my own for years from wine bottle lead foil. Figured I’d give these a try. Never again. You end up putting these “stickers” on foil anyway following their instructions. Can you spell “rip off? And in scale, I think they’re oversized anyway - at least in length.
1/48 AM48056 MASTER MODEL BARRELS for CANNON M197 (20mm) for AH-1 COBRA PROMOTE
    22 Jun, 2019
Good representation, but very, very difficult to assemble.
Very realistic reproduction, but a real challenge to assemble. The holes in the brackets holding the barrels are slightly undersized; the barrels bend easily when being fitted. I tried drilling out the brackets, but couldn't get them right with bent barrels. Ordered another set to try again............. If you buy these, you'll be happy with the appearance, but unhappy with the assembly with the current production lot.
