The Soul of Rolling Stones
2 of 2 found this helpful I want to start of by saying I am a huge admirer of Brian Jones , he has influenced and inspired me endlessly and continues to do so in many ways .
I gotta say I read a lot about his life because it simply interests me and I guess I want to know what his short life was like , what shaped him musically.
So I just finished this book and I really liked it , it was well written and Im impressed at the new things I learned about Brian and his life.
I like how the author showed a certain duality of the positive and negative attributes of Brians actions and happenings, made it feel more crude and real and you couldnt help but feel sympathy for the devil.
This book brought up a lot of feelings to me because of how sympathetic I feel towards him but it was also because of how the author expressed everything in a raw human way.
I also really liked how it was musically focused as well unlike other books that are just focused on drama instead of the artists achievements.
Brian was and will always be the soul of The Rolling Stones ..
I could go on but I say go on and get this book,find out for yourself .

Beginner
Im a beginner , but I can say it sounds great . I can already play a few songs, would highly recommend to beginners or to anyone who is in a low budget .

Game changer !
Ive been using a propane setup , a disposable propane tank with a brass torch head so it was about time I got a new one . Ive had my eyes on this one for a while.. Its so lightweight and feels easy on the hand , easy to control . I had to practice a bit beforehand ( i was a little nervous) and after a couple melted pieces of silver I think I got it down . Once you get it down its so great to work with! Long hoses so you can place your tanks wherever really, comfort which is very important when working with such a tool , and the flames are beautiful and large which heat up a piece of metal very quick. It also solders very clean due to the oxygen I suppose. I recommend this torch to any jeweler who is wanting to go forward in their jewelry making journey. It really changes things around if you’ve been using butane or propane , you can tell the difference and youll get work done quicker , worth every penny!
