What we barely knew
1 of 1 found this helpful This is an extremely readable book of history covering the years 1938 to 1945. Ms Olson has done extensive research on this period in those uncertain years when Britain, her Prime Minister, and the amazing British people stood up to Hitler.
Lynne Olsen did an amazing job, and this book of 553 pages (including index), reads like an engrossing novel, not like a history bool.
Buy it! You won't be sorry!!

Fascinating read
Although a bit repetitive, I found the book quite interesting, and well documented.
