wonderful flute for good price
1 of 1 found this helpful This flute is real silver plate and quite tarnished. All it needed was a good going over with some silver polish. The instrument itself was a bit out of adjustment but in 5 minutes I had it sounding beautiful. Gemeinhardts are really wonderful well made instruments. This one took a little adjusting and polishing but very much worth the price.

Really needed the case
1 of 1 found this helpful I am a band teacher who knows better than cheap chinese made trumpets However the case for my wonderful Bb/C Trumpet was damaged and I needed a replacement. For as much as I dislike cheap chinese trumpets, they do come with nice cases. I got exactly what I expected. A very nice case with a piece of junk trumpet. It looked beautiful to look at. The valves are poorly made and make an astonishing amount of noise going up and down. The tone is imposible to focus and some notes are particularly out of tune. I don't mind. my nice Yamaha has a new case and I have this bad trumpet to loan out to kids who forget to bring thier own. After playing it a few times, it will give them incentive to bring thier own trumpets to band so they don't have to try to play that piece of junk. Smiles all around.
