Best quality

This unit is more expensive than most on the market but worth it. I ordered it because I felt that it was really made of rubber. On my searches I put the keyword "rubber" in the search and all of the cheap ones popped up as well so I ordered a cheap one because they were vague about the material it was made of (some did say rubber but are not). When it arrived I saw it was made of plastic with self adhesive tape on the bottom. Didn't think much of it as I felt the weight of the tire would keep it from moving out of position when I pulled the car onto it in the garage while not using the tape to hold it. Wrong! It did move and one of my vehicles contacted the other (no damage). The cheap unit might be good if you never move the mat and tape or attach it in one spot and never plan to move it. I am a car collector so I am constantly rotating the parking positions in my shop so I need a parking mat that will stay put with the cars weight and no attachment to the floor. This rubber unit does this very well and can be moved again and again and still work well
