Instructions seem to infer that in the event of it activating it cannot be reset and unit has to be discarded ?

Easy replacement for original
This item was so easy to install.Just had to change over the numbered tabs.No need for a screwdriver (except to open the box).The free mains tester screwdriver was usefull for checking that the wireing was safe when open.Had to reset the timer and gmt switch to my requirements however .No problem as the the instructions were so comprehensive and easy to follow.This company has got it right for a replacement item.The box is of good quality and looks great.No downside to this product.

Good quality and value
Simple to operate,good quality build.
Has a stop, close down, and return to original button as well as an on off switch.
adeqate 4gb built in memory and promises good battery life.
However it has no clip or anchor point for lanyard.
Looks good quality and has good sound level, slight delay on selection but not a problem once gotten used to.
Seems to charge quickly with good indication,though only charged once so unaware of residual charge on arrival.
