Shrinkflation?
This product is described as OE Spec, but the oil filter is about half the size of the OE one as far as I can see, I have made sure the Mahle one in the image is similar in size to a LR item and it is. Is this shrinkflation? I will not be fitting this filter as LR designed the filter the way they did for a reason. It makes sense that if a filter is half the size it has a reduced capacity to filter because of the reduced filter area. Britpart blurb states that it is designed to be easier to fit, so if it’s just as effective and easier to fit why did LR not think of that, I will NOT buy Britpart again.
