556B Neotech Lite Saxophone Soft Harness Strap - NEW

A comfortable compact harness

Takes the weight off the neck and packs down quite small in the case. It works for tenor sax, baritone sax and a quick try of bass clarinet for me as a small / average height male 140cm and not as fit as I could be at 80Kg.

An easy to use ligature, make sure you get the right size

Rovner do an incredible number of ligature size variants to match the different manufacturers (Otto Link, Selmer, Yamaha, Berg Larsen etc) and materials (metal and ebonite mainly). An Otto Link Metal alto saxophone mouthpiece has a different diameter / size (it is thinner) and will be a different size ligature to an Otto Link ebonite alto saxophone mouth piece. Similarly a Berg Larsen ebonite alto sax mouth piece may take a different ligature to a Selmer alto sax ebonite mouhpiece. If you get the correct one they are brilliant. They are easy to put on, easy to adjust and they hold the reed on well. They also seem to last for ages. I have had some for over a decade. To check the size you need Rovner have a calculator on their website to tell you which one to get. So do Bill Lewington. They are not cheap for a piece of material but given the thought put into them in terms of size and fit they are good value
