This is not cast iron.

This is not heavy cast iron. This is light weight pressed steel with a non stick coating. This has been miss described and I can't understand why all the reviews say it is cast iron. I can only assume the item has been changed/down graded since the reviews were left, which reflect the original cast iron product. I would have left no stars because it's missed described completely but the review system wouldn't let me. You have been warned!

I was very pleased with my item. Look really lovely on the window, easy to apply too. Be careful when removing application tape as they are delicate so can tear if you are not careful with them. Would recommend. Thank you

If you want easy and quick slow cooker recipes, this is not the book for you.

I bought this book for my son and his girlfriend. The book contains lots of nice looking meals and for me the object of using a slow cooker is that you can create quick, easy meals with minimal preparation. A lot of the recipes involve preparing parts before hand, for example: making mashed potato first to add to the meal and they also involve a lot of ingredients too. If you are after a simple book to create quick one pot slow cooker meals before you dash out for the day or off to work this would not be for you. I would not normally write a review but think this may help some people to not buy incorrectly as I have.
