Poor Sound quality

Poor sound quality, very metallic sound. TV speakers were better than the sound bar which I had not expected. Only one connecting cable supplied in the box which would not allow connection to the TV. Would have to have purchased an optical cable which rather altered the price dynamics. Given that the original price was about £100 I expected rather more. Would not recommend it. You will definitely require to spend more money to connect it up!

Great security camera!

Easy set up. Once set up just forget about it - it keeps you informed about what is happening! Requires a good broadband connection as it's connected 24/7 so may not be suitable for all locations. I have 38mb fibre broadband with unlimited usage so no problem. If you want to keep the timeline of recordings for more than 12 hours you have to start paying a small amount, but at the moment I just take the free service. Have added a second canary to the system. The movement detector is very sensitive - can be set off by shadows in certain situations! Privacy can be switched on by the owner to stop reciording when at home and the system is disarmed but have not used this facility. Have Airbnb guests and keep it in all the time just to monitor what is happening at the front and rear door access. Don't consider it too obtrusive and as I said it does all the work in the background with little input from you. Brilliant!!!
