We need more reminders like this!
1 of 1 found this helpful A thoroughly competent compilation from archive footage dealing with de Havilland's wartime creation, the Mosquito, arguably Britain's most outstanding aeroplane, of which sadly, there are none left flying in this country.
The DVD provides a good colour tribute of the Mosquito in flight, from one of the country's annual air displays but predominantly concentrates on the design, development and deployment of this remarkable aircraft, largely built of plywood by tradesmen carpenters and cabinet makers whose combined skills resulted in this spectacularly beautiful machine whose versatility remains unmatched to this day.
We really do need more of this type of investigative historical recounting before history finally relegates such material to a footnote of time.
