Light and versatile
Leica lens, Panasonic quality build, both hard to better. Great wide angle, great zoom. Image stabilization excellent, though a steady hand helps a lot. Good in dim light. Not idiot proof (nothing is) and you can improve your shots enormously by learning a little photography technique. Resting the camera on (eg) a wall or parapet and using the timer gets great night shots. Likewise church ceilings at maximum zoom: use the timer, camera on the floor.

Lightweight but robust, well-fitting shoes
I have worn New Balance shoes for long distance running and hlking for 50 years. Quality of manufacture and fit is excellent.

Great little all-in-one printer
Automatic download of drivers by Windows (Win7), but scanner didn't offer scan to PDF. Only after I went onto the HP site and downloaded the full version of the drivers was PDF an option.
Apart from this setting up was a doddle.
Scan to memory stick (except via PC) not an option as the printer does not have a USB port.
Good point is that one can disable HP checks and use 3rd party laser cartridges.
