It works well, but has some minor hiccups
2 of 2 found this helpful This bluetooth transmitter/receiver works about as expected. It has some quirks, but that is to be expected at this price. For instance, the signal sometimes will cut out for one second, even within 10 feet. It sometimes will not reset when headphones are disconnected, requiring manual resetting. These are minor annoyances. The important thing is that it works, and works reliably. A more expensive unit would probably reduce or eliminate the quirks I've mentioned. With such a small internal antenna, some occasional signal interference is to be expected.
I have this plugged into my Roku TV. It's paired with bluetooth earbuds. I wasn't quite satisfied with the Remote Listening feature of the Roku app, and wanted a more direct wireless way of listening to TV at night. I find the transmitter and earbuds to be a more reliable system than the Roku app. Plus I can walk to the fridge or check food on the stove without having to carry my phone with me. So this device has definitely upgraded my remote listening experience.
