You can upgrade ram to 16gb if needed and change to ssd which I have already done. Amazing change in the speed to boot.

My 2015 Macbook

I am able to use Apple apps and that is a good thing, like Pages (word(, keynote (PowerPoint), and numbers (spreadsheets). Cannot add ram but 8gb ram is good for day-to-day work. Start up is fast and typing is good/o the need for a mouse. Good buy!!!

SSD Upgrade

I removed a 120gb SSD bought from OWC. The start up and opening of the 480gb S55 is a bit slower but it gets the job done. I will keep it as it seems that only Microsoft Office is more of the slowpoke than the other apps. Just rebooted to check again. So, it is a good buy. The price is certainly much lower than others.
