Cosmos is important, The first really good explanation
1 of 1 found this helpful I love the explanation/s, Science at this level, moves out from my schooling and knowledge. To allow me entry in understanding the broad thrust of the topics is amazing, Although to some, Sagan's dress sense and some of the aminations and music , could appear 'old hat'
I used to dress like that, loved the music and still find the animations, mind blowing.
It is what they reveal, that is important, not their modernity.
Our understanding of the Cosmos, our history and place within, will change in the future but I suspect that Carl Sagan will still be respected as an great figure ,rationalist and explainer, as well as dreamer
