Nice cheap enclosure. No front or back panel.
2 of 2 found this helpful The item received looks pretty much identical to the photos in the description apart from few small scratches on the paint. Top and bottom are 0.7 mm thick steel painted blue. They are attached with screws to white plastic front and rear frames. The screws holding the top cover are self tapped into the plastic so you shouldn't screw them too many times. Not visible in the photos, there are two steel L bars in the top edges connecting front and rear frames which improve the rigidity. The feet on the bottom are made of hard plastic which doesn't prevent sliding on a table.
Front and back plates are not included which is unusual. Note that the panels are also missing in the photos. This is OK if you plan to order printed and drilled panels elsewhere but otherwise it would be an inconvenience. The recess for the panel is sized 160 x 66 mm.
The dimensions of the enclosure are 170 x 130 x 77 mm excluding feet and screw heads, and 173 x 130 x 87 mm including them. The enclosure is pretty light weighing 356 grams.

Works with Nordic layout
Bought this adapter for a Keytronic KT1000PS2BLSV keyboard with a Nordic/Swedish/Finnish layout. All keys function properly, even the | key which is a problem with some adapters. Tested on Linux Mint 18.1.

Gets the wow & flutter down
An essential part for restoring the full performance of a DD Walkman.
Just replacing the original old and worn rubber ring with this new part brought wow & flutter down from 1.3% DIN RMS (2.7% DIN peak) to 0.11% DIN RMS (0.22& DIN peak) on my WM-DD33. In other words, from unbearably jittery to approaching the original specs. Next, adjusting the motor position and servo according to service manual got W&F slightly below 0.10% DIN RMS (0.18% DIN peak).
Replacing the ring also affected tape speed. Originally a 3000 Hz test tape played at 3008 Hz. New ring brought it to 3002 Hz and the final adjustments to 3000.3 Hz, near perfect.
