Does the job, good price

It's a 10G ethernet NIC for copper RJ45 cabling. Works as advertised. The Intel NICs also work without any issues in most popular OSes like Windows, Linux, BSD (pfSense).

Excellent for firewall

Using this in an older PC re-purposed as a firewall with pfSense (2.4). FreeBSD drivers picked up the card without any issues. Appears to perform AOK.

If you want to run 10Gig Ethernet over Fiber, this is a great option.

For Linux, this is plug-and-play. For Windows, you will probably have to install drivers from Intel.
