AAA Batteries
They are AAA Batteries - exactly AA size and they power my stuff

Best paint stripper ever!
I have tried all kinds of stripper and this one beats them all hands down. Just stripped an old Black and Decker workmate (it was powder coated). It took off 2mm thick powder coat easily! Just apply a thick coat and cover with cling film for 24 hours and the paint/powder coat peels off like jelly. I also use it on old machinery e.g. lathes that have enamel paint on them. Does the job brilliantly. Also it isn't corrosive like other well known makes.

Well built but basically functionaly not working.
3 of 3 found this helpful After buying a couple of cheap chinese Cyclone (NCS) alarms and having to discard them, I researched a little and opted for the Hawk X-50. On delivery I had high hopes as the unit was well documented and looks well built. I hooked the unit up to a 12v power supply and all seemed good (well apart from the fact they they sent an X-60 rather than and X-50). The X-60 has the voice alarm functionality - that I neither wanted or needed. So I would have to take extra steps to turn that off. After taking a couple of hours to fit it to my motorcycle I tested the unit, e.g. I moved the bike - nothing. I could physically tilt the biike off it's stand and walk away with it whilsy shaking it from side to side. To make the alarm to off I had to grab the handle bar and shake the bike rigourously. I emailed support for the item (at this time they still thought they had sent an X-50) and they advised that I should get the external tilt/shock sensor?!?!? To me selling an item with a built in shock sensor that isn't actually fit for anything is ridiculous - the shock sensor is the MAIN point of the alarm and the part that is most important on an alarm! If an external sensor is needed to make the item function properly then it should be supplied as standard. Like many companies these days Hawk seem to be concentrating on the Bells and Whistles (lots of features that no one needs or wants) and sacrificing solid working base features e.g. the shock sensor actually working. A 120db siren is no use if you can't actually set it off by walking off with the bike! Another unit consigned to the bin - the search goes on for a basic solid working alarm unit.
