Not bad for the money
None of the inserts supplied with the knob fitted the brass stem of the switch on my gas fire. They were either too big or too small. However, if you have a small round file and some patience the small insert can be made to fit.

Not very effective
Although this tool is quite well made, its cutting edges are not very sharp so countersinking by hand is quite laborious. Due to the shape of the cutting head, it is not possible to countersink anything other than relatively large sizes.
