Contrary to popular belief, you can judge this book by its cover.
As explicitly implied in the title of the book, the content is empirically derived and thus practically based. This means that as opposed to airy fairy economic theories that have no basis in reality, the content of the book can be used in transforming people, lives, and lived experiences in the real world or real life situations; especially in the developing world. The book provides alternative routes to economic independence from the exploitative chokehold of international financial institutions like the World Bank and IMF as well as unregulated international trade agreements dominated, controlled, and used by Europe, America, and now China to keep Africa under-developed. For example, while Africa produces well over half the raw and mineral resources in the world, the Continent remains the poorest and most under-developed region in our world. This simply means that most of the chronic problems of Africa are solution-induced by Europe, America, and China by intentionally creating problems in and for Africa as solution to the problems of the Northern Hemisphere.
