MSI GeForce GTX 1060 6GT
1 of 1 found this helpful I purchased this card primarilly so I could play VR games using an Oculus rift, having just built myself a gaming PC, this card didn't dissapoint and runs most things that I throw at it, admittedly you are not going to be playing every modern game in with the highest possible settings, if you want to do that I suggest spending over four times the amount and getting a GTX1080Ti, I have a relatively budget VR PC build, it came in at just under £1,500 including this card and the Oculus rift, coupled with a Ryzen 5 1600 that is overclocked to 3.8Ghz.
To give a comparison, my old card would return an average FPS of just over 40 in Orange Room VR benchmarking software, the ideal target to be able to run a VR set is 109 FPS, when I put this card in it returned just over 150FPS, so certainly beat the required benchmark, with a little bit of overclocking I have managed to get this card running at 175 FPS in the same benchmarking software, so certainly work the money and a fantastic card that will run Oculus rift as long as you have it matched to a good spec CPU
