Good pump for medium ponds
This was a replacement for our old 3000 which we could not get an impeller for. Bigger pump, flatter so takes up a bit more space in the pond. The design is better in that you can take it apart to clean with having to tip and balance it upside down like the old one and due to the clips on the casing you have less screws to fiddle about with and lose. However, the hinge lid is a pain, it does not seem to hinge up as per the instruction and we had to use a screwdriver flat blade to release it and be able to remove for cleaning purposes. May be better if there were a couple of extra clips and no hinge. Great value and fast delivery with plenty of updates/tracking.

Worth a try
Good idea to try and scare the birds from under our roof solar panels, however, although the pigeons were scared of it the starlings, which were the problem, were not
