Phillips ShockStop Soft Shell Case For Kindle 3
29 Jan, 2022
Makes reading in bed easier but leaves the screen unprotected.
It fits my kindle perfectly. It does not protect the front of the kindle but it fits the back like a glove. It makes reading in bed much easier than with a standard kindle case. I added a pop socket to make it even easier to hold. It's super light but again, not protective of the front of the kindle. It's a softer, flexible rubber so it's very easy to take off and put on. Smeared fingerprints are very visible but that doesn't bother me. Glad I found it. Took quite a bit of searching for cases on ebay before this one popped up. The white rectangle in the one photo is a sticker on the back of my kindle.
Amazon Kindle 4th Generation | D01100 | Wi-Fi only | TESTED

I love the non touch screen.
I have one of these already but a couple of the page turn buttons are starting to stick. I figured I'd buy another one before they all disappeared. I love the physical page turn buttons, I love that all the buttons are physical. I love that it's not touch screen. I read all the time, when food (or anything else) falls on a touch screen, it makes the page move. If you're reading outside and you need to brush off the screen, you have to turn your reader off or you'll move pages. If you fall asleep while reading, and the e-reader falls on your face, the pages move. The only downside of this reader is, if you have to enter something like a WiFi password, picking letters one by one with the arrows can be tedious. I have a touch screen e-reader and I've barely used it since I got my first kindle. This last kindle I bought looks brand new. I look forward to many happy years with my new to me Kindle 4th generation.
