Excellent value and a gripping real life story
I was keen to see the film after visiting Lavenham during a 1940s weekend, where much was made about the American pilots stationed there in WW2. The film was highly recommended there and lived up to expectations, especially with the archive footage of air battles over Britain. One gained greater understanding of the immense pressure upon the pilots having to repeat so many terrifying missions, with frequent loss of their comrades
The characters were believable and not over- acted.
