Nothing else to say except PERFECTION!
This guitar is the pinacle of B.C. Rich quality. You won't find a better instrument in their line, save maybe for a hand crafted Bernie Rico, SR. This guitar sounds amazing, plays beautifully, is unbelievably comfortable, and looks stellar! The neck thru body construction gives it loads of tone and makes soloing a breeze up high on the fretboard, the ebony fretboard makes the strings glide like butter - not sticky or resistive like rosewood can be, the factory pickups are decent (and I'm usually immensely picky about pickup tone. I change out nearly all pickups with Seymour Duncans, but these do well right out of the box). The trem is not a pain to set up or balance, and the vast & varied settings give you all kinds of tonal options - from a metal shredder to a single coil tone (via the coil splitter capability) to a fat rock tone. Even sounds great clean! This guitar will do it all, and I'm not exaggerating. The only two minor complaints one could pose is 1. the volume knob for the bridge pickup seems to be crowding the strings a bit where your hand sits. this isn't a huge issue, unless you're a big motion strummer (which I'm not); and 2. there are so many controls and optional settings for this thing, you may need to search the internet for a schematic to tell you what everything does (I did).
Bottom line is if you want a Mockingbird, don't bother with other models - this one steals the show, both in looks, sound and playability! 5 out of 5 rating!
