Good solderable replacement part
Well made, solderable, Sennheiser compatible quality part. Tricky to solder there is not much space in this compact design.

Mintex - worth paying for
Mintex brake pads are always a little better. I don't need powerful braking in a shopping trolley but Mintex pads give a smoother and progressive feel. The old pads used to "grab" on initial pressure Mintex pads are more reassuring.
This supplier had the best price.

The Kalashnikov of the SLR world - no nonsense, quality design from the Eastern block
For a pocket money price MTL5 provides access to the tail end of an industrial run of millions of one of the cleanest pieces of industrial design the world has ever seen. With no dependence on electronics, a metal bladed shutter a solid cast aluminum body this forty year old camera looks like it will still be working perfectly long after I have lost the ability to use it.
The one I bought looked like it hardly been out of the box; an unmarked body, perfect function and barely a sign of internal dust. Fitted with a 42mm lens, either a Praktica or possibly a Pentax this camera can take pictures than will rival the quality any other 35mm film camera.
This is the ideal tool to revisit the world of black and white film photography and take pictures that might actually be worth seeing!
