Don't waste your money on this pedal

It is utterly worthless. Really. If you need a metal box and a couple of jacks it might be worth $3. With boost and volume pots in fully clockwise position the pedal cuts Db and frequencies and distorts.

iclaw is good but could be improved

This piece of equipment fills a real need for gigging musicians. It is a pretty well built device. I have two of them and one has threads that are difficult and somewhat bound up, and the other one works freely so I'm guessing the manufacturing process is somewhat inconsistent. That said, as booms go, this one is as well built as most. Also, I want to place my music iPad to the side of my mic stand. It does do this but not precisely at a right angle. It seems like the unit was designed to hold an I Pad directly in front of a mic stand which makes no sense to me.
